Derrick Reaves is a lifelong writer, his first 300-page novel written over a summer break at age 12 and later sold to schoolmates for weeks’ worth of lunch money. Emboldened by the self exploration and determination of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent BLM protests, Reaves re-engaged his passion. Reaves studied psychology at Pace University and Florida State University and theater at The Stella Adler Studio/NYU Tisch. His pronouns are he/him/his.
